Hey guys as you will have noticed the guild has been disbanded. The reason for this is that I personally do not have the time to manage the guild and take care of it any more. We did not want anyone to take the place of Guildmaster and run infeCion because we have had so many great times and did not want to risk running the guild into the ground and it taking a bad turn.
I apologies for any inconvenience caused by this and any troubles we may have caused you, we would like to also thank you all for being such great guild mates and for the many times we enjoyed with you ingame.
I have arranged for guild members who want to still be guild mates to be able to join the PvP guild they are a bunch of mature players just like us, I would like to also see most of you guys join there, but the choice is yours ofc. You must apply at http://www.overrated-guild.net/
Its been a honor and pleasure playing with you guys in InfeCtion, I wish you all good luck in the future in WOW and IRL
As for ALL the items in the guild bank, they will be sold to the vender and also gold in the guild bank will be split between all lvl 70s in the guild to make it fair as possible.

| With the release of Wrath of the Lich King approaching |
With the release of Wrath of the Lich King approaching, we wanted to provide you with some important information. In preparation for the expansion, we will be issuing a new content patch in the coming weeks. Much like the patch made available shortly before The Burning Crusade's release, this content patch is designed to bridge current game content with that of the expansion and will contain some exciting changes and additions.
We have outlined some of the larger features scheduled to release with the patch below:
New class spells and talents.
Barbershops in capital cities.
Zeppelin towers outside of Orgrimmar and Tirisfal Glades.
Stormwind Harbour.
In-game guild calendar.
Hunter pet skill revamp.
New profession: Inscription.
Two brand-new Arenas featuring challenging new layouts, terrain hazards, and moving obstacles:
Orgrimmar Arena.
Dalaran Arena.
As mentioned above, this is not a comprehensive list, just some of the major highlights. We’ll post the full patch notes as soon as they’re available.
Regarding Inscription, please note that all Burning Crusade players will be able to select Inscription as one of their two professions and level up to a skill level of 375 with it. Upon the release of Wrath of the Lich King, players who purchase and install the expansion will be able to continue leveling in Inscription and the other professions beyond 375.

| Southshore World Pvp event! |
Since people want more World Pvp, I thought I would give a nice oppertunity for all.
Where: Southshore
When: Sunday 31st of August
Time: 15:00 Server Time
Main Idea: Idea is that the horde will try to take over Southshore by brute force, killing every NPC, Ally or whatever's in the way to get total control. The alliance will need to defend it for atleast one hour.
When does someone Win:
Alliance: When either the horde gives up, or when its 16:00 and the horde still hasnt taken over Southshore.
Horde: When you are in fully control of Southshore, meaning most of the NPC's dead, and the alliance has no chance of retaking it.

This will be a server event , so we will bring our own guild raid to this event, so please attend.

| InfeCtion V Your Death Sentance |
We are Planning to make a PvP world event Guild V Guild
The date: Sunday, 10th august 2008.
The location: Arathi Highlands between Hammerfall and Refuge's Point.
The time: 21:00 Game time
Rules: Ofcourse there are no rules. Just slaugther them all.
As I said the location of the battlefield will be in Arathi Highlands between Hammerfall and Refuge's point. Horde will gather up close to Hammerfall a few min before the event start, the same goes for the Alliance only they will gather up near Refuge's Point. At 21:00 GT the event starts. Then it's time to charge eachother and may the best win.
It's more fun and more exciting when many people show up at the PvP event. So anybody that is reading this please attend this event, as there is not much World PvP going on the server at the moment
Well, that's all. And when the time has come, we will see what side overrules!
All ideas or suggestion's are more then welcome, you may reply or PM me in-game.

Hey, i want inform all, that im going to roll a pve, so i need a pve guild.
New main admin of site is now Gingermedic, who will take care of it.

Ok guys , i have been speaking to the GM of Force of Storm.
to have abit of a change from our usuall 40man city raids, we have both agreed to organise an 120man raid to the city...
The time and date will be in guild message of the day(incase of any alliance are looking)
all of the raid will be summoned into the city as usuall the same tactics from our guild etc
so can you all please try to attend this "Large" event and bring IronForge the alliances main city to its knees!
hopfully the server will be able to cope, and hope more that their guild keep there word and this event happens

 After Gingerteeth is back, we are ready to run raids again.
This Saturday officers will lead another Stormwind raid.
Raid is at 20:00 GT but we start invitations at 19:40.
We all hope officers will have kind of tactic, to avoid fast wipe.

The Al'Akir event management team have been inactive due to people being busy in real life, but we are starting up slowly again! So I present you this event :
Redridge Mountains Ganking!
Because I am leaving the World of Warcraft and going to try Age of Conan, I decided that an event would make the perfect "Bye Al'Akir, thanks for the times and see you all later!". So here it is! The random ganking event we all want!
No restrictions!
Just make your way to Redridge Mountains on may 18th at 20:00 and roam freely around! People can do whatever they want. If they want to AOE Lakeshire down, go ahead!
All level ranges are allowed, though only 70's are recommended!
I really do hope we will have a major attendance from both sides, and I hope to crash Al'Akir once more smiley
